The most important thing to Jessie + Jeff was that they were finally getting married! They just couldn’t wait to tie the knot and I love that! Jessie + Jeff were married at a family friend’s eclectic ranch house in Texas and loved creating most of the details for the day themselves (especially after becoming inspired from blogs such as GWS Jessie told me – so fun!) Jessie’s favorite part about the wedding was actually all the planning + nights of crafting she spent with family + friends! I just love that she said that as those were some of my favorite memories too. Involving the ones you love the most to help create a day about the two of you, what could be more meaningful? Jessie + Jeff also brought their old vintage Chevy Truck to the wedding for some fun photos, played Bon Iver (a fave of mine too!) during the ceremony and used biodegradable confetti for their exit. Congrats to Jessie + Jeff and thanks to Sunny 16 Photography for the lovely photos!
One of Jessie’s favorite details were the red doors above that to her surprise, her dad, father-in-law, and brother ingeniously rigged to slide open right as she was about to walk down the aisle! Talk about an entrance!
From Jessie, None of this would have been possible without the help of our friends and family. None. I know everyone says this but when you have an event such as a wedding it is such a beautiful opportunity to outwardly show love for one another. We felt so loved during our six months of planning. People invested time in us as a couple, not just for the wedding day, but for the life long commitment of marriage as well.
Beautifully said Jessie! We wish you both all the best!

Totally gorgeous wedding! That dancing shot is sublime. The couple is absolutely beautiful too!
Love the groom’s boutonniere! And it’s so great how they turned the planning “season” into something that fostered love and family time instead of stress and frustration.

Vest were from JCPenney’s! 15 bucks!
How were the doors made for the entrance down the isle? Were they on a frame of some kind? AMAZING idea.
Thanks!
They were strung on a cable that was bolted to the trees on either side. It just worked out! My brothers slid them aside on the cables. :)
