Can you imagine anything more romantic than getting married in Africa? The continent’s rich history, celebrated culture, stunning landscape, and unparalleled hospitality are just a few of the reasons we’re totally on board! Today’s elopement inspiration comes to us by way of South African event planner, Nu Experiences. With a goal to showcase a luxurious experience in a remote African setting (hello, glamping!), we’re seriously smitten with all the boho statements and diverse details of the day.
Nu tells us, The aim of this shoot was to show case a realistic and inspirational setting for the adventurous couples out there who’s hearts have been stolen by the African sun, and who desire to elope in Africa.
The team gathered on a windy day with Charlene Schreuder Photography and pulled off an elopement for the wild at heart. Let’s venture on, toward the African sun!
The Location
The day took place at Cherry Glamping in Eglin Valley, an hour from Cape Town. Glamping in Africa?! Heck yes! The property features fully furnished seats, community-style dining, and wine tasting for the experience of a lifetime.

The bride rocked a sweetheart neckline in a gorgeous gown by Cindy Bam. Paired with romantic hair and make up by Marnel Toerien, she’s absolutely radiant!
Those RINGS! The bespoke pieces are by South African design studio, Scarab Jewllery.
