That’s why Kim + Dave filled their modern and sophisticated wedding day with wintery details and clever Christmas-y touches. (Get ready for Dave’s sleeves.)
With the help of event designers and planners from Artisan Rose, Kim + Dave brought all kinds of seasonal sparkle to their industrial downtown Dallas venue, DEC On Dragon. There were twinkly star lanterns. There were dashes of art deco glitter and glam. And there were lots of cozy velvets and other textures perfect for the time of year when there’s a chill in the air.
And we’re loving the ways that this couple incorporated their playful personalities into the day’s sophisticated elegance. So glad Chris x Jess Photo & Film was there catching it all!

Pause and soak in the small moments throughout the day. We intentionally tried to slow down time for a few moments throughout the evening to really enjoy all of the emotions.

A Sophisticated Celebration
The embellished belt on Kim’s dress is the perfect pop of sparkle.
The Styled Affair outfitted the celebration with tons of fab furniture moments like this beautiful family photo wall seating banquette.
Kim + Dave’s non-traditional macaron wedding cake by Joy Macarons was one of many fun details that the couple threaded through their day! Other playful elements included an air hockey table during cocktail hour, a churro bar, and nods to their beloved dog Gypsy!
Arched champagne wall shelves and signage that match the arched invitation suite! We’re sensing a theme!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding We both agree that having a private tour of the reception space before our guests were seated was a special moment. Also, shout out to our amazing photographers for capturing our reactions! After a year of wedding planning, it was wonderful to have a moment as newlyweds to enjoy the reception space together.

What a beautiful wedding it was! The style, the macarons, the champagne glasses – all is beyond beauty!!! I can feel that major almost like celebrity hahaha atmosphere of the wedding through the screen. It was really well arranged, the clothes and every small detail is so cuteeeee! I really enjoyed looking at the pics and happy faces of everyone who were there at that day, and i wish them to have a happy marriage! They do look happy, it in their eyes! Omg there are not so many photosets from the weddings that ever made me feel cuteness towards the man/woman tandem, but this one is one of them!
