Today I have two fun engagement parties to share with you guys. First up is a fun carnival themed backyard engagement party for Rachael + Anthony. Rachael’s good friend Jennifer Lane designed the party invites and once Rachael saw them she knew she wanted to do a fun carnival themed party.
The two of us planned everything out and worked night and day on all the little details! Jenn designed all of the stationary. (The cupcake flags, candy bag stickers, ticket signs, drink tags, kissing booth sign, quilt sign and invitation with return address label.)  Jen’s mom did all the flower arrangements in old fashioned popcorn buckets, my future in laws made all the food, the lights and some decorations were donated by our  church. Jenn and I made and decorated cupcakes and put in little flags that said our wedding date, “love sweet love”, “Sweet beginnings” “we’re getting married” “love is a treat” and “soon to be mrs and mrs!.” The candy table and drink station were my favorite parts of the decor. It was a relaxing, fun and perfect evening with all of our friends and family!
Thanks again Rachael and congrats to you + Anthony. You can see more from their party on Rachael’s Blog.
What a fun engagement party!
oh so fun!
These are great pics! Those invites were definitely inspired by Martha Stewart Weddings magazine… I got the idea for my wedding invited from there and they said the exact same thing as these! :)
This is so creative! What a cute and fun idea!
What a wonderful party! This is one of those events that makes me wish I was actually there. So much fun!
Just brilliant design at its best. This theme could so easily translate to a fun bridal shower, a fun birthday party, or even a backyard reception. I especially love to see designs that incorporate so much riotous color without looking gaudy.
Wow, really nice! check out http://www.bigroundwheel.com they rent ferris wheels for carnival themed weddings
I LOVEEEEE the invites. Is there a way to order them?
