What a better way to start the beginning of a long weekend with the summer issue of Martha Stewart Weddings hitting newstands today! I love seeing all their creative ideas and the real weddings they feature are with some of the most creative couples. And guess what – Shira Shivada, the real weddings editor, is letting me share some photos from one of their real weddings! Thanks Shira!! I LOVE how fun + stylish this San Francisco CIty Hall wedding is. The couple were married at City Hall, then had a parade (with that cute banner below designed by San Francisco artist Jeff Canham) to the restaurant where the reception was held. Such a beautiful day :)
Be sure to check out the rest of this charming wedding here and don’t forget to pick up the newest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings! Perfect to read at the beach or pool this weekend :)
How cute is that cake?!?!? love it. congrats!
it’s so bright and cheery! love it!
This wedding = pure adorableness! I can’t even pick a favorite thing because I love the whole thing. The chocolate covered pretzels are genius, and the dress is making my heart melt. The bride looks like a newly wed Audrey Hepburn! Gorgeous :)
What a fun burst of color and energy! Congratulations to the gorgeous couple :)
Thanks for sharing! I wouldn’t have seen this because I took Martha off my blog roll some time ago. She stresses me out!
intensely beautiful! and look at your rubbing elbows with “martha”. yay!
This wedding makes me well up. My parents eloped in a similar manner 35 years ago. They’re still giddy in love and remain best friends to this day. Seeing couples go this route fills me with dreams for people I don’t even know. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, my. That dress is perfect and looks amazing on the bride!
Love her dress with her tiny waist and those awesome shoes!!! Charming charming CHARMING!!!! The reception location is one of my favorite places in the world. Kudos to a hipster cool couple who know how to throw a super cool wedding!!!

anyone know where to order a banner like the one shown in the first picture? it looks adorable.
I love the dress and the beautiful pictures. Any ideas as to where on online to find gowns in this style?
I am shooting in San Francisco City Hall for over five years. Yet not every day I see such creativity. This couple have put together edgy accessories which combined with neo-classical San Francisco City Hall look make this wedding look so unique.
please someone tell me where that dress is from, it’s perfect for what I want!
