Karen + Thong had a huge Texas wedding. With over 500 guests, it’s probably one of the largest weddings we’ve shared here on Green Wedding Shoes! The ceremony was held at St. Joseph Vietnamese Church and the reception was at the Thanh Thanh Restaurant in Arlington, Texas. Since they were having a pretty traditional large wedding, they wanted to make sure they personalized it to still say “Karen + Thong!” They did this with lots of sweet details they crafted themselves such as the stationery, stylish shoes for everyone in the bridal party + fun pins for all the guests! Of course I’m loving the bridesmaids apple green shoes and the the other pops of green throughout their day! :) Congrats to Karen + Thong and thanks to Tinywater Photography for letting me share their photos.

Our Favorite Memory
Thong: The most memorable moment of our wedding day for me was seeing Karen for the first time walking down the aisle in her beautiful wedding dress. I couldn’t believe that all of our hard work was finally going to be realized. Everything else from that moment on no longer mattered.
Karen: When I stood at the end of the aisle with my stepdad and made eye contact with Thong. A rush of emotions ran through my body, and I couldn't contain it. I started bawling pretty much the minute I started walking. That was the most exciting and happiest moment of my life. Ugh, I'm a sap.
Our Advice
Be true to yourself and let your personality shine. Make the best of what you've got and don't focus on things that are out of your control. Everything isn't going to go your way, JUST LET IT GO! Remember, in the end, you'll be married to your bestie!
