“Let’s Get Pickled is an upscale mid-century bachelorette celebration that blends retro glamour with whimsical detail,” says Salomé of Photos By Salomé, the photographer behind this gorg pickle-green bachelorette party shoot.“Inspired by cocktail culture and the playful spirit of the era, the shoot reimagines Dahlia House by Nolita Hall as a chic gathering space where muted olives, dusty pinks, and golden brass accents set the stage.”
We cannot get enough of the way that Salomé, Vida Creative, and the rest of the team behind this editorial curated a pickle-centric aesthetic that’s so undeniably chic! The immaculately briny vibe, Salomé explains, was made up of “shaken not stirred martinis, vintage glassware, and artfully styled boards with pickled delights, paired with laughter, clinking glasses, and the bachelorette at the center in timeless retro style.”
“The mood is editorial yet cheeky, like stepping into a modern magazine spread with a wink of mid-century nostalgia,” Salomé says. Some of the ways they accomplished this? Adorable custom retro matchbooks. Super cute pickle green mini dress style moments. A green, silver, and ivory color world with little pops of red that made the modern San Diego venue feel like a swanky mid-mod martini bar. And, of course, plenty of pickles.
“This shoot celebrates the bachelorette party as more than just a night out,” Salomé says.“It is a stylish send-off with playful sophistication, where every detail feels both refined and delightfully unexpected.”
Vida Creative, the event designers + planners that brought this shoot to life, also created these deliciously retro invites!
