Nicole is the owner of Savannah, Georgia-based Ivory & Beau, where she and her team help brides choose the dress, design the day, and deck it all out in dreamy florals. She’s basically the wedding expert—so when Alex proposed on a snowy mountain overlooking Lake Tahoe, let’s just say she was ready.
Working in the wedding industry for 5 years, I dreamed of the day I would be the bride…not the planner or the florist or the bridal consultant. So when Alex proposed, it was game on. The theme of the wedding really came from our personal style as a couple and if you were to come into our home, you’d know it. Old Roberds Dairy Farm was the perfect setting for our giant tipis while the large oak tree dripping with Spanish moss was perfect for the ceremony!
Nicole’s festival-style design unfolded with the help of her team at Ivory & Beau, several rental companies, and day of coordination by Savannah Wedding Dreams. And there to capture it all was the talented married duo, The Poffs!
Nicole designed the entire invitation suite and all the paper goods herself! How adorable are they?!

After the ceremony, guests gathered under tipis where tables overflowed with greenery, macramé details hung from the canopies, and colorful decor combined for an amazingly fun vibe!

The last song!!! All our guests circled around us while the DJ played "Stand by Me" and everybody sang as loud as they could!! It was so special!
