How do you capture the magic of a beautiful sunrise or sunset? You begin with color, perhaps, but it’s a certain dash of awe + wonder that really brings the sky to life. Inspired by that magical moment, Bari Elexa Events set out to design a day which grasped the feeling of a new day beginning and the content of a beautiful day gone by:
Inspired by the natural tones of the sky during the most beautiful parts of the day, sunrise and sunset, we dreamed up this ethereal collaboration in Northern California. Texture and movement played a big role in the design and aesthetic of the shoot, featuring the distressed marigold walls of the Rodeo Room at the Headlands Center for the Arts. Drawn to the natural elements surrounding the property in Sausalito, I designed this shoot with an eye on materials to bring the outdoors inside and wooden accents matched with silky fabrics.
All the enchantment from the day was documented in lovely photographs by Olivia Richards Photography—let’s have a look!
Texture + Tone in the Details
The torn-edge material mixed with sweeping calligraphy gives this invitation suite by Carta Plena a modern, organic feel. Also—loving that ombré insert, reminiscent of a sunrise!
How utterly gorgeous is this Gem Breakfast ring, sitting pretty in a ring box from Esselle? As for those perfectly bundled blooms…
Feast of Florals
…they were only the beginning from the creative mind of Natasha Kolenko! This wall-climbing backdrop created a perfect ethereal focal point for the ceremony.
Modern Fairy Tale Looks for the Bride + Groom
The bride wore a beautiful sheath gown, the ‘Kir’ dress by Sarah Seven.
Loving this romantic ‘do by Makeup by Quis!
As for the groom, he suited up in a navy suit paired with an organic brown bowtie and a pop of yellow—to compliment his bride!
Yellow wedding shoes…we can get on board with that!
A Magical Ceremony
Perfection in a bouquet!
LOVE this dress and this dreamy setting!
Newlywed in Northern California
What a view!
So dreamy!
The Sunny Gold Reception Space
Bari kept the table + chairs from Encore Event Rentals simple yet elegant, allowing the florals to pop beneath the delicate chandelier.
Breathtaking as a sunset, those blooms against the marigold wall!
YES to this leather table runner! A perfect masculine detail to balance the sweetness.
The Prettiest Provisions
Even the beautiful spread by Katie Powers Catering gives off a foraged, magical feel, continuing with the theme of bringing the outside in.
This textured cake by A Spoonful of Sugar Cakes holds all the promise of a sweet end to the day, not unlike a sweeping sunset. Just dreamy! Thank you to the entire team for sharing your creative vision with us!

Golden color is always a good choice. I also love the flowers. Per total, great choice for anything. The wedding scenes seems to be from James Bond movie. Good job!!
