Rayne + Michael live in Denver, Colorado, but chose to elopement in, arguably, one of the most beautiful locations imaginable: Yosemite. For this duo, who loves the mountains and going on adventurous hiking + biking trips, the goal for their day was to be as spontaneous as possible, without any solid plans standing in their way.

Rayne is such a stunner, right?! She wore the ‘Chante’ dress by Houghton and it seriously feels like it was made just for her!
Even though they chose to elope, R + M still wanted to honor their close friends by inviting them to be members of their bridal party. We love Rayne’s BFF’s BHLDN dresses. A perfect match for the nature-filled surroundings!
Our Favorite Memory
Michael & I said goodnight to each other after dinner the day before & did not see each other until the morning after with our photographers, Tyler & Nick- We went to our separate rooms to write our vows. My favorite memory is being nervous to see him that morning and then so excited to hear and exchange heartfelt words of love and unity during our ceremony.
On their sweet, intimate ceremony, Rayne tells us, We had Katie, my best friend from undergrad who introduced us (at a concert in 2011) marry us. She read quotes from John Muir that fit our love for each other & nature, and our surroundings perfectly.
This sweet, intimate tablescape came together beautifully thanks to the talent of Sweet Dreams Cakery Wedding Flowers, who provided both the lovely florals and yummy-looking dripping cake!
