I’m excited to continue to share more of our home design with you guys – and today it’s all about our dining room! We partnered with Lulu & Georgia to create this perfect dining nook for our home. The main living area of our home is an open floor plan so we definitely wanted to keep the open feeling with our dining room and also take advantage of all the windows our home has (the wall of windows was one of the main things that sold us on our home as we LOVE that the home has lots of indoor/outdoor space and TONS of natural light!
The vibe for our home is Beachy Rustic Modern Bohemian. The wooden beams bring the perfect tiny amount of rustic into our home and with the white walls + high ceilings it feels very modern, so for the furniture we wanted it to be a bit boho + a bit modern. The first piece I was looking for this space (and what I love to design around) is a great rug. We narrowed it down to a few different rugs, then settled on the Satya rug. Buying a rug online can be tricky and I wasn’t sure if I really liked it or not, but this rug in person looks SO GOOD!! We love it and it’s my favorite part of this space – and it brings the perfect amount of boho into the space to keep with our overall vibe of our home.
We previously had a rectangular table but this space (and the fact that you can see the TV from the table) made this the perfect time to try a round table. We choose this wood round table from Lulu & Georgia and paired it with modern white chairs – the Lisette Tower chairs, 2 with arms and 2 without. Seriously love how the table feels larger but takes up less space!!
A tiny peek at the rest of our main living space! (and more to come soon on our living room)
We are bringing lots of plants and prints into our space also and pretty obsessed with this cactus print we found from Minted. Love that their art comes framed as well since I hate framing prints.
Still trying to figure out what to put in the space below the print – would love a bar cart but with a toddler and newborn that just isn’t practical! So thinking perhaps a bench with pillows might be fun since I love lots of pillows (and that pillow by Justina Blakeney for Loloi Rugs is such a beauty, right!?) We’ll keep you posted!
Hope you loved seeing a peek at our dining room space! We are excited to share more from our home in the next month.
big thanks to Katie Shuler for the photos
First of all, really lovely space!
But WHOA, I’m moving and remodelling my office space this week and need new chairs, and I just this morning sent links to BOTH of these chairs to my husband, asking him if he thought it would look ok to have two of each. And BAM, just a few hours later I randomly see that yes, they DO look awesome together!
Yay!! And I hear ya on that since I was wondering the same thing before we got these!! I really wanted the armless ones but the hubs wanted the arms so we got 2 and 2 and they do work together! And gives people the option for whichever chair they prefer :)
Wow I am OBSESSED with this!!! I want all of the things that are seen here…!
Thanks Nicole!!
