It’s probably safe to say that most of us have an ongoing love affair with Tuscany…or at least the idea of it for those who haven’t been. But the thought of Tuscany in the spring – when stunning roses, peonies, daisies, ranunculus and wisteria literally cover the ground + grow like weeds – is enough to cause serious heart palpitations, day dreams and major distractions.
The planners + designers at Le Jour du Oui teamed up with Janna of Warmphoto to design an editorial that captures that feeling – of Tuscany in the spring. They were inspired by a wonderful Italian garden on the grounds of their venue (Villa Agape in Florence) with its cypress and olive trees that seemed to create the perfect backdrop for their bride and groom. They chose romantic dresses, soft and ethereal the fabrics and timeless, classic hair + makeup. The goal was to craft a scene that was chic, but not too formal, using a color palette that was soft, romantic + oh-so-elegant.

On the venue, Janna says, We chose the amazing venue Villa Agape with large garden full of flowers and blossom trees. Here there are two amazing magnolia trees that, together with the jasmin, covers the whole boundary wall, making the air sweet and scented. This landscape offers the visitors a delightful and attractive view.
