Happy Monday ladies + gents! We have the prettiest, vintage-inspired wedding to share this morning and it’s filled with tons and TONS of DIY! Brittney + Jordan purposely didn’t hire a wedding planner because they knew they wanted to pull all those special details together on their own. They pieced together everything from the flower girl outfits (srlsy, wait ’til you see them – cuteness overload!) to the sweet, woodsy tablescape and reception details. Since we’re sure so many of you are knee-deep in DIY projects yourself, let’s hear more from Brittney about the crafts she took on:
Etsy was our best friend – we purchased our wedding invites, groomsmen gifts, wedding cake topper, and guestbook from there. I hand painted the ceremony, reception and parking signs, and painted and wrote out most of the chalkboard signs. We made all of the wedding programs; Jordan shot and edited a photo then we chose the font and program information and applied it to the photo on photoshop. We had them printed then glued the programs together to create a fan. We put our all into this wedding, wanting every small detail to be well thought out and created!

Our Favorite Memory
The whole day was so memorable its so hard to choose just one memorable moment of the day- but i would have to say one of my most favorite moments was having our first look on the shore of lake wenatchee- Jordan was facing the lake and I approached him and tapped him on his shoulder- he turned around and with both of us instantly teary eyed we hugged and kissed and were both so happy to be in that moment and with each other and ready to start our adventure together, it was one of the happiest moments that I can remember.
Jordan picked out the groomsmen’s vintage-inspired outfits + they were a perfect fit for the wedding’s aesthetic.

Our Advice
One piece of advice I could give future brides is to don't feel afraid to ask your close friends and family for help- we began to get really overwhelmed with all of the DIY projects we took on and decided to have all of our closest friends and family come over and help us finish last minute things they helped us put together and glue all the wedding programs and tie together all the table placements with the bakers twine napkins, and silverware, they also finished drilling holes for the tea lights to go in all of the wood rounds for the center pieces, and helped us finish putting the photo stickers on each wedding favor cd. It was extremely helpful!! its amazing how much you can get done in a few hours with only about 10 extra ppl there to help.
