Virginia + Alex had a super cute idea for their engagement session! They both work in the film industry and have a love of all things vintage and all things film. Being film buffs they especially love silent films and old spaghetti westerns! Ashleigh Taylor helped collaborate with them along with their event designer Tami of Fabulously Wed to style the perfect engagement session that would reflect their love of old films. I love the location they chose (Paramount Ranch in Agoura Hills), because they have sets from Old Western Films and it is also surrounded by nature! And how cute is Alex’s boutonniere made with 16mm film – love it!
They also created a picnic area styled with many of the couple’s own vintage items that reflect an era gone by – lace, a lead candelabra, old cameras, suitcases, and old books! They even set up a little sweets table for them decorated with flowers, vintage labeled tin cans, and delicious baked goods (include pie pops and pies in jars) from Fancy Fancy Bread.
Lastly the couple had a clever idea of making cue cards to tell their love story – very silent movie-esque! Amber Moon of Pitbulls and Posies made some great signage for them.
