Most of the inspiration for Kaysie + Casey’s wedding came from their venue in Everglades City, Florida – the Rod & Gun Club. It’s kind of their dream home! :) They wanted to keep their day very casual and informal so they (and their friends) would be comfortable. I’m in major love with Kaysie’s multi-colored chevron print dress – and that she wore boots! Just love, right? :) Thanks to Glass Jar Photography for the photos and congrats to Kaysie + Casey!

The ceremony! Our dear friend Ryan Hopewell became a minister somewhere on the Internet to officiate our love. He did such a sweet job and I think was a great representation of us in keeping with the informality and humor. Then we kissed and were married! I was tempted to answer this question with at 1:30 in the morning our friend Allie was doing the PeeWee Herman dance on the bar, but that doesn't seem appropriate. Definitely runner up for most memorable moment. :)
Our Advice
Don't be afraid to ask for help! I got in way over my head trying to do everything myself. I was so stressed and not sleeping and sort of losing sight of what the day was even about. When I was able to step back and ask my friends and family for some assistance everything became so much easier and we were right back on track. Also, if you plan on making everything yourself (decorations, centerpieces, etc.) make sure you budget yourself. Just because its DIY does not mean it will necessarily be cheaper if you're not careful. And remember you love each other as much as you can love someone and that's what it's all about.
