Now that we’ve shared Dani + Dominic’s gorgeous engagement photos, it’s time to share their wedding! I love that Dani + Dom made almost everything for their day. Dani is wearing one of my most favorite dresses from BHLDN and her bridesmaids all wore gorgeous dresses from Free People. They did everything very untraditional including calling everyone a week before and changing the time of their wedding! The two of them love going on road trips and because of their many nights on the open roads, “Free” by Zach Brown Band became their anthem and first dance song.

How did Dominic propose?
We were on a road trip and it was a few days before my birthday. We were in St. Louis and the last day there we went to the zoo. Dominic and I are huge lovers of penguins because they mate for life, and in St. Louis, you can pay to do a backstage tour with penguins! So basically we met real live penguins, and he popped the question! Just me, him, our 2 penguin friends and Meg the trainer (but she walked away). haha. It was perfect and sweet.
Our Advice
Be yourself and don't plan your wedding to please your guests, plan it to please yourselves and you'll see how happy that makes everyone else.
