Emily Riggs is far from a stranger around these parts, and we often share editorials featuring her absolutely breathtaking wedding dresses out in a real-life setting so brides-to-be can get an idea of how they’ll really look. Today, we’re sharing her latest project, a winter bridal editorial captured by Maria Lamb, which took place on a remote Island off the Columbia River Gorge.
Emily shares, The setting was chosen to go with the Gray Nightingale gown and the sheer 2 piece ensemble. I really wanted to mix modern with the rustic outdoors so we had Krista from Sainte G. Cake Company make a lovely modern cake to pair with our theme. One of my favorite parts from the shoot was the paper goods from Gather & Co Julie did an amazing job to create a modern, edgy and unique invitation suite.

The natural, ethereal hair + makeup definitely stands out to us. The sweet updo was created by Ambrosia Carey + Cassandra Kennedy did the beautiful makeup.

The florals by Kae Yelchaninov were a perfect contrast to the dress’ blue-gray hue.

This dress would be such a dream for a winter wedding!

Truly gorgeous, right? Thank you so much to Emily Riggs for always sharing her stunning dresses with us + to the rest of the team below for sharing their incredible work!
