Everyone remembers the adorable children’s book The Little Prince, right? It’s a fave around here for sure, and Rachael of Lace And Likes agrees! In fact, it was the very inspiration for this incredibly charming styled shoot, which features fun details from the book that can (surprisingly!) translate perfectly to a whimsical wedding or event. Let’s hear a bit more about it from Rachael:
I wanted to create a beautiful “tomboy” bride to be The Little Prince and the love story in this shoot is between the prince and the rose. It’s a modern twist on the book of course, but we incorporated key elements like stars, the roses, the desert, the flock of birds and more.
And Studio Castillero really blew us away with their stunning photography on this one! Have a peek..
Isn’t this such a gorgeous look for the unconventional bride? The pretty, flowy dress is by Coralie Beatrix!
And we’re totally smitten with this braid crown, by 10.11 Makeup! If you love it as much as us, we are sharing a tutorial on this look next week!
Wouldn’t these paper birds make for some dreamy wedding decor?
And love the table styling, with colorful pieces from The Hostess Haven + so many fun references to the book!
