Urban Murals as Backdrops

What better place to do an engagement session for two artists living in Philadelphia then using art as your background? Amanda from Love Me Do Photography sent over this fun shoot that took place in West Philadelphia where mural artist Steve Powers and the Mural Arts program collaborated for a series of murals called the Love Letters. Ben +  Katherine are both artists in Philadelphia and this seemed like the perfect backdrop for their shoot. There are around 50 murals in the project, but most are up high, so they were only able to use a handful. I can’t think of a better backdrop than love letters for an engagement session – Love it :)

For someone like me who is obsessed with typography, I’m so in love with these photos. If you aren’t familiar with this project, be sure to check out all the murals here. What a great concept. Wish LA would do something like this!
