We’re all kinds of in love with today’s red, green + gold wedding, captured beautifully by our girl Danielle Poff! Alyx + Stephen’s wedding has the perfect feel for the holidays, but their design ideas would work gorgeously for a wedding held any time during the year. They totally went for it with their Spanish-inspired boho luxe theme (a killer, unique concept if you ask us). And each detail they included, which you’ll see below, truly inspires us to no end. We think you’ll definitely feel the same. Let’s hear a bit more about it all from the beautiful bride:
Our biggest inspiration for the day was location. We really wanted our wedding day to be very us, so we made sure our venue was local and relative to our relationship. We met in high school, so our hometown is part of our love story. Plus we wanted all our friends and family there to party with us! We both love the beach and Spanish style architecture, so The Casino San Clemente (in San Clemente, California) was the perfect venue. The style inspiration was some kind of beachy-spanish-boho-luxe. We didn’t want the wedding to be too “wedding-ish” but have a bohemian feel mixed with some touches of glamour. We really love the idea of mashing up things together- juxaposition. We had a plated dinner of gourmet hamburgers with family style homemade mac & cheese, for goodness sake!
All in the Detail Design helped A + S pull together their design ideas (and boy are they good!). The wedding party style was totally on point, too. The girls in their bright red dresses from Flynn Skye + the guys in super sharp-looking black suits – just so good. If you love this wedding’s vibe as much as us, shop it below to get the look:

Our Vows to each other. It was so magical to express our truest emotions about one another in front of all our loved ones. We cried, we laughed, and we recommend writing your own vows to anyone considering it.

Major love for these sunset beach shots Danielle captured of the cutie newlyweds!
Alyx shares, With our new last name being “House”, we had so much fun playing with that for wedding details. It made things really unique to us and fun for guests. We had a list of House Rules, House Margaritas, the bar was “On the House”, each table had a bottle of House Sauce, our wedding cake was the shape of a house, and of course we entered the reception to Brick House as our band was revealed as a surprise to guests.
So many fun gold touches! And we just adore the abundant greenery table runners, too.

Consider a band! Ah we loved our band and they rocked the house! It was so fun! We kept them a secret until our entrance into the reception and people freaked out. Guests loved it, we loved, and it ultimately created such a fun and unique experience!
