A few months ago, Jaclyne from Heavenly Blooms contacted me with an idea to take this board I created last year for a fun Cinco de Mayo wedding and bring it to life. I loved the idea and the results came out so gorgeous! We wanted a fresh, modern take with soft, pastel colors instead of the expected bright colors. The amazing team of Stephanie + Isaac from This Modern Romance photographed the feature at the Star Ranch in Corona, CA. The Star Ranch would be such a great location for a wedding – amazing views, gorgeous landscape and an overall great atmosphere. Thanks so much to everyone who helped bring this to life and I hope you all love it as much as we do!
I absolutely loved the table design Jaclyne came up with. Super fresh + modern with a desert vibe. Love the use of the papel picado on the menus, invites, and even cake!
Stunning! Love the photo of our bride in that gorgeous dress by Joan Shum with a hairpiece by Untamed Petals.
We even had smaller papel picado flags guests could wave as the couple walked back down the aisle.
Super cute invites from Posh Paperie and the large flower hair piece below is from Ban.do. Her stunning bouquet is a mix of succulents, roses and ranunculus.
I had two looks for our groom: a more casual vest and pants and this more modern suit above from Armani Exchange. I love the simple succulent as a boutonniere on the suit and the big pink flower with the fun vest.
And Mexican Hot Chocolate to end the evening!
Such a gorgeous location! The light was amazing that day – and even the horse cooperated! :)
Big thanks to all these amazing vendors!

So amazing how everything just worked together PERFECTLY!! It was so much fun to see this come together from behind-the-scenes and get captured through breath-taking photographs!!
After looking at this again today in light of the papel picado banner post, that invitation is sooo adorable!
Amazing. Just amazing!
LOVE this shoot! The dress, her hair, the colors, everything! Beautifully done.
Beautiful images and beautiful couple!
Beautiful! Does anyone know where the flatware is from? It is great!
Sierra- the spiral silverware is available at Classic Party Rentals in El Segundo, CA. http://www.classicpartyrentals.com
Thanks so much everyone for your lovely comments! We are all so excited everyone loves this as much as we do. :) I also need to just do another shout out at how amazing Jaclyne was at pulling everything together – this was really her baby and she did such an amazing job!! As well as Stephanie and Isaac – thanks so much you guys!!
oh my i love EVERYTHING about this shoot! This is the first thing that i’ve seen in a while that makes me want to jump up and down… (and I am reading all the wedding blogs daily) it is all so beautiful! And that dress… with the big sleeves, so gorgeous! thanks for the beautiful inspiration!
Where do I start? I am going to go out on a limb and say this is the most gorgeous inspiration shoot ever done. There, I said it. Everything from the colors, to the dresses, to the textures and to the photography is executed beautifully. Plus, one of the Untamed Petal halo pieces is the same one I gave to my sister for my wedding…I may be a bit biased!:)
Beautiful, beautiful beautiful! LOve the table centerpieces made with plants stones and glass tubes as well as give- aways bags. Great inspiration, thanks for posting!
I keep coming back to see these pictures. I just can’t believe how beautiful every single element is, from the bride to the florals to the photographs. I am so proud to have contributed. Thank you Stephanie for capturing it all so perfectly, to you, Jenn, for your inspiration, and to Jaclyne for bringing it all to life.
Wow! thank you for all the kind words! This shoot was so much fun to work on! We had such an amazing team on this one and I have to thank everyone involved, especially Jaclyne! Oh, and we can’t thank the people over at Star Ranch enough for giving us the run of their gorgeous property and letting us shoot with their horse!
such a beautiful bride and unique setting! very inspiring, i used one of the images in my most recent post:

thanks for the inspiration!
Where can I find the beautiful headband/fascinator that is worn with the short/capped sleeve dress? The feathers and the colors are gorgeous!
I swear I dont think I’ve ever seen anything more beautiful than this. Love everything about it, I want to squeeeeal! I literally want to be her! lol Simply DIVINE!
Betsy – That lovely piece is from Untamed Petals.

What a beautiful shoot. I love everything. I was wondering where the dress with sleeves and lace is from? I absolutely love it.
The most beautiful wedding shoot EVER!
What a stunning photo shoot – all beautiful and the horse is adorable sleeping away throughout. Love the wedding fascinator – just simple and charming.
Love this shoot!! Incredible and soo beautiful… each of her dresses are gorgeous!
Great combinations of colors! And the bride is so gorgeous in her wedding dress. Love every angle of the pictures.
this is perfection. I am in love with that suit and those teal doors.
My favorite part of this wedding is the cactus centerpieces, very well done.
An absolutely exquisite shoot. I almost regret seeing this post as now I’m pining for a joan shum wedding dress and of course the figure to pull it off! I think I will be dreaming of this shoot for quite a while…
I love this so much! Where did you get all the glass vases from in the different sizes for the cactus. I just adore that so much!
I LOVE the lace-neck topped v-neck dress. So incredibly close to what I had designed for myself! Almost identical! Mine was just a little more modest! I love it! I’d love her body too! LOL
I wouldn’t mind a cream colored pony at a shoot either! :D
What are the glass tube like thingies called that the cacti are in and where can I get them? My cousin is having a wedding and doing her center peices like this :)))))
All the images are fabulous! I like the cafe lattes with cinnamon. where is this place? looks very relaxed..
I would actually like to know where the vest, that the groom in this shoot is wearing, comes from.
I love the style of the off the shoulder gown. I never was a fan of strapless, and this is an wonderful alternative. The large skirt and all the ruffles is just beautiful! Love it.

I wish I would have seen this blog before my Mexican themed wedding! Love the ideas & photographs.
I love the cactus centerpieces! I am trying to re-create them for my own wedding. Where can I get the pebbles that the vases are filled with?
