Romeo & Juliet-Inspired Valentine’s Day Ideas

Antique Valentines Inspiration

The fact that Valentine’s Day falls on a Sunday this year means there are probably a handful of weddings that will take place. And for those of you tying the knot on V-Day next year, or for anyone who simply wants to add a touch of romance to their wedding day, today’s editorial by Blu Event Design & Couture Florals is sure to inspire!

The photographer behind the beauty, Tiffany of Avant Images, shares, Our inspiration was a gorgeous antique table and deep green velvet chair. Based on the old world style of the pieces we planned to build the shoot around we chose Romeo and Juliet as our theme. As we brainstormed we asked ourselves what it might have looked like if the star crossed lovers hadn’t met their tragic fate, but instead were married. On Valentine’s Day. The most romantic of all the days.
