Ribbons. Ribbons. Ribbons.

Max posted his latest engagement session on his blog and it reminded me again why I love ribbons – the are so simple, flowing and fun. A beautiful accent to your day – or engagement session.

Ribbons make perfect decor for your wedding ceremony. I especially love them hanging from trees…

And I’ve been loving them hanging off the back of chairs.

  7. Yes, Im using ribbons! We're getting married in a gazebo and the ribbons are going to make a kind of swaged curtain framing the opening. Cant wait!

  12. what a beautiful round up! i love the way ribbons are such an easy way to add a dose of your color palette to decor! i'm using them in one of my weddings hung in the entry to the reception, with the placecards pinned to them. i may have to put them on the bride+groom's chairs as well!

  13. Oh my goodness, I've almost gone broke getting ribbons from Michael's and Etsy!! I've gotten a good variety in the color families of my two wedding colors and plan on using them for EVERYTHING!! From ribbons on the bubble containers to the bouquets cascading with ribbons! I'm so excited to use all of them!

  14. these are beautiful. thanks for posting! i am using ribbons and lace for TONSSS of stuff also!!! hanging from the trees and chairs, as posted in this, but also we are having a photobooth, so i'll create the curtain out of ribbons. at our AMAZINGGGGG mountain ranch wedding location we are going to be hanging ribbons from the arch under which we are getting married! anddd we will be hanging tons of recycled mason jars from the trees with candles and flowers inside them…which we will use ribbons to hang them with also. :) for those in northern california, go to S.C.R.A.P. (google it) in san francisco…they have TONS of this stuff for cheap cheap cheappp…

  15. I absolutely ADORE ribbons and streamers. As a Texan Hill Country girl with big plans for an outdoor ranch wedding, I plan on using ribbons anydangwhere I can. I almost cried the first time I saw pictures of ribbons hanging from trees. I knew at that moment it was exactly what I’d been looking for. I always find simplicity striking, especially when the results are effortless beauty.
