Most memorable moment of your wedding day?

Leeanne: Up until the day of, I was a part of everything. From making the bouquets to table seating to how the candy table would come together. In my mind it was perfect and beautiful. That morning I just woke up and got my hair and make up done. Jacob said to me “don’t worry I will take care of everything.” When I arrived at the house and saw what he had done I was speechless. There are still no words for how perfect it looked. He exceeded my every thought and idea of how our day would be. It was stunningly perfect.

Jacob: Although I don’t think I’ll ever forget the moment of seeing my wife for the first time, what really stuck with me and made it real for me that I was married was taking family photos. Our families were having so much fun taking photos. Leeanne’s dad and I were standing next to each other in the photos and he turned to me and said “I am really glad that you are my son.” I think it actually sank in at that moment that I was married. I looked around at my new family and felt so lucky.

Any advice for those planning now? Enjoy it! We were engaged for a year and we wanted everything to be handmade or home grown. We did a lot of it together and it made it so much more enjoyable. We had a lot of help from our family and friends.
