Real Wedding: Cori + John’s Sweet Outdoor Wedding

Happy Friday everyone! To wrap up a week of fun bow ties, I have a lovely outdoor wedding to share with you – and yes, the groom is rocking a bow tie :) Thanks to photographer Carissa of For You Love Me for sending this my way. Cori + John were married on May Day in Lancaster, VA. Cori has her college degree in fibers and this was evident throughout the whole event – every aspect was hand done.

How gorgeous is Cori’s dress? She designed it herself and it was made by her cousin, Jenelle Wiker. And the flower girl’s? Adorable. Their dresses were made by couple’s sister-in-law, Vivian Haughery.

The ceremony was held at the top of a hill under the branches of a huge tree. It was a warm sunny day that felt perfect on that hilltop with the cool breezes gently blowing. The tree they were married under was a very important aspect of the day for the symbolization it held of something starting as a seed growing into a huge, strong, tree.

and they REALLY did drive away together on the groom’s vintage motorcycle which was so very cute.

Congrats to Cori + John and thanks for sharing your sweet wedding with us!
