This beautiful wedding was captured by the talented James Christian AND Julie Afflerbaugh. Claudia and Michael, who live in Miami, have spent quite a bit of time in Colorado, and Vail has become one of their favorite locals for a little rest and relaxation. Now they have some amazing memories of a perfect wedding involving their love, a moose, a canoe and so much more. Their ceremony was right on Piney Lake, about a 45 minute drive from Vail…such a gorgeous location! After the ceremony they had a picnic lunch at an old camp right on the water. Love the decor here! Then the guests went back to Vail for a nap or hike or whatever while the bride and groom took portraits. In the evening, everyone reconvened for a black tie reception dinner and dancing at the Sonnenalp Resort in Vail.
