Aubrie + Josh are old souls. Everyone that knows them knows that and I love that they were able to incorporate this “old love” into their wedding. They did this with the concept of growing old together and still being up for adventure in the many years to come. Sounds familiar to a movie that was popular last year, right? Yep, they were also inspired by snippets from the animated film “Up!” Aubrie and Josh borrowed the colorful balloons and even an “Up” themed cake. They wrote their own vows which according to Lehua Noelle (the photographer) were “incredibly beautiful about growing old together, trust me, there were no dry eyes at this wedding. This wedding was incredibly sweet and the fun details were simple yet poignant. They were the right amount of detail, not too much, something most brides can handle, while being fun and striking.”
The wedding took place at the Marvimon – a hidden gem located in Downtown LA. It’s a tiny garden set in the middle of the city which is such a great contrast + perfect for a wedding.
How cute is their cake??!! Love their names on the mailbox too. :) Best wishes to Aubrie + Josh and thanks for sharing your wedding with us. :)

PS – If you love the movie UP, you’ll need to check out this real house that floated across the sky with balloons -it really works! And another cute UP inspired wedding from Indonesia.

Oh my! This wedding is unbelievably adorable and creative. I just got married on March 5 and my bridesmaids also wore cardigans and different necklaces. I hope more brides will go for that style I just think it looks so great!
Best of luck to you two!

I’m very very curious about the balloon sendoff.
Could you please share how it was done ?
To answer the last comment, I myself am wondering about a balloon sendoff, and I know that you can buy ballons in natural material, that are biodegradable.
