Who else is excited for the upcoming Oz movie? I love the Wizard of Oz and I think the trailer for OZ The Great and Powerful looks pretty amazing also – especially the visuals! Well, today we have not one, but two gorgeous shoots inspired by OZ The Great and Powerful and the Wizard of Oz. Both are totally different and I hope you will find inspiration in them – or they will at least make you smile! :)
The first shoot is by Dana Grant Photography and came from one question, “what if Dorothy and Oz fell in love?” And so the shoot came to life! The story starts with Dorothy leaving her Kansas home with Toto, finding Oz waiting for her to marry him along a yellow brick road and under a velvety green arbor. After that, a party ensues with Glinda the good witch, and munchkins – until they lived happily ever after! Oh, and with a super pretty emerald dress + shoes!
A bit from Dana: This movie and story has a lot of meaning for me (and for many). What girl doesn’t identify with adventures in self discovery? Sometimes you go through so much only to realize you already have everything you need right there inside of you. You really are brave and you really are strong. And that’s when you find your true love, which brings me to my concept…
How cute is his hot air balloon boutonniere!?
Both Dorothy and Glinda’s stunning dresses are by Evey Clothing
Totally loving her emerald dress!
Thanks so much to all these creatives for sharing their talents with us today – and keeping us dreaming of Oz!

Love this and it is right on trend with Pantone’s color of the year, Emerald. I am a huge Wizard of OZ fan from the books to the Broadway musical Wicked! I can’t wait to see the movie this weekend. This has me daydreaming right now. And the fashion is exquisite. <3
