As I announced yesterday, our sweet baby girl came quite a few weeks early, so I’m glad we were able to fit in maternity photos with our friend and talented photographer, Caroline Tran. To be honest, before I was pregnant I didn’t think I wanted maternity photos, but once I was pregnant – and realized I didn’t do a great job capturing my belly! – I wanted to make sure I did have this moment captured. And here’s a tip! For those currently pregnant, it’s best to do maternity photos when you are around 28-32 weeks. At that point, you’ll have a cute belly and still be feeling pretty good hopefully. I waited a bit long, I was at 34 weeks, but at least I fit them in since our girl came at 35 weeks! Big thanks also to Theresa Huang for my lovely hair + makeup…
Love how they turned out and feel a bit like a fairytale for that magical time… :)
Thanks again to Caroline Tran and Theresa Huang. Jason and I (and Sienna) will treasure these photos! My dress is from Asos.

You are precious…I’m so in love with this and the whole concept of birth is mind blowing…truly amazing! Congrats again!
Congrats Jen… these are just stunning!
Awww…amidst all these wedding blogs, it’s good to see the natural first step for after – babies! ha ha. I love the idea of capturing this with a beautiful shoot such as this, showing the pretty mama and her soon-to-be baby with daddy. It’s always good to see the heart over the tummy shot, but my favorite picture is actually the one of him kissing her forehead. I’m such a sucker for moments like those…
I don’t always love maternity photo shoots, sometimes they feel a bit too forced to me. But these are just super dreamy, yet still feel real. I love them! My favorite is the one of you on the rock. Impressive knowing that you gave birth the following week!
Such beautiful images here. How lovely to have them to show the baby in the future too!!! :) xx
Jen, you are one gorgeous pregnant mama to be, or should I say mama now! I adore every photo and so happy you did them. You are for sure glowing and I really love your gown! Congratulations, what a wonderful time of your life! Enjoy every moment of time with your precious little girl.
Totally a fairytale! These are so beautiful – I’m in love with that dress!

Such beautiful images! You look amazing! Hope you’re enjoying that baby girl:)
From Southern California, and was wondering where this shoot was at???! Gorgeous location!
Thanks!

I noticed that you mentioned your dress was from Asos maternity. Do you mind me asking how you sized? I’m looking at a few dresses from them myself but have heard mixed reviews on sizing. Thank you! LOVE the pics!
I actually bought 3 sizes since I wasn’t sure about the sizing also! Great since they have free returns. :) I ended up going with my regular dress size, so I got a size 4. The size 6 could have worked also. Hope that helps and congrats!
