One of my favorite parts of my job is surfing the web + checking out what other talented designers are creating and currently inspired by. This past week I stumbled across some really unique + fun invites – my favorite! First up is Mike + Rachael’s invite. Mike is an art director so of couse he wanted to have some fun with his invites :) They got married in the Pacific Northwest + their invitation system complimented the couple’s offbeat style with a full wedding-day guidebook, map and scout badges.
How fun is their wedding handbook! Just adore it…
Next up is from the creative team at Ptarmak. Such a fun invitation suite for an “Old Fashioned Southern-Style Hitchin’ in Texas.” The design is AMAZING and just has such a rad overall feel.
And for a new spin on one of my past favorite ideas – the handkerchief invite! I love the cardboard sleeve and all the details that went into the design of the handkerchief. You can read all about the creative process behing this invite on Kelli Anderson’s blog.
If you are in the process of thinking about invitations hopefully those inspired you a bit – remember the invite is generally the first thing your guest will see about your wedding and really helps establish the overall vibe for your day. Makes me want to get married all over again. So amazing!
Love your favs! I had never seen a handkerchief invite before. Very clever. I am nuts for the wedding guide and map. I design a lot of these, but I like how creative they got!
Those are absolutely brilliant. We are thinking for creating a destination book for our wedding invitation. Some old fashion communications means as opposed to a website.
Thanks for sharing those. They are brilliant!
i LOVE the Tying the Knot booklet! So so clever. Plus it’s for Seattle, where I’m from. :-P
Thank you for the research. Thanks for sharing.
So pretty! I love that idea so much. :)
Oh I love these all, but I love the first one best of all! So clever–and even better that it’s from Seattle :)
Wow! Those are ah-ma-zing. Absolutely brilliant ideas.
I just can’t get over how fun all of these products are! I especially love the wedding guidebook. Love it!
