There’s nothing we love more than a little midweek inspiration, so we’re extremely excited to share this gorgeous styled shoot from photographer, Vanessa Boy!
Florida is known for being an extremely popular destination, especially for beach weddings, but outside of tourism – it tends to be forgotten. So in order to highlight Florida’s increasing attention to the arts and celebrate the local community, Vanessa gathered a team of creatives together to craft some gorgeous wedding inspiration!
Nestled away in a newly developed area of Orlando, is a little arts district called Canvas Market. Vanessa shares The Market venue overlooks the tranquil Lake Nona and all of the market and dining area windows face a waterfront view with the most majestic of sunsets! The area was designed with the intention of celebrating artists, artisans and really good food.
After discovering this artist enclave, she teamed up with Peplum Events & Design to create some real magic. Utilizing the colorful stained glass house by Tom Fruin as both the location and theme, all the other details + elements were gathered from local artists, inspired by the vibrant glass house.
Ready for a little eye candy?
To keep the authentic feel of the space, all furniture + decor details were sourced from the Canvas Market… and the pretty paper goods + invites by Lalita Paperie were printed on plantable seed paper!
You can NEVER go wrong with shoes from Jimmy Choo.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her white Sarah Seven ‘Sullivan’ Gown offset by all the colors!
Absolutely gorgeous florals by the event designer + planner + florist, Peplum Events & Design.
How stunning is this shot? Several artisans, all local to the area, came together to create the goodies in this photo! The bride’s beautiful cuff + earrings are by Dora Mae Jewelry, and the groom’s watch is by Form Function Form.
The Canvas Restaurant & Market makes for one cool setting, especially with all the string lights!
Those lashes!! Gorgeous makeup + side swept hair by Idalis Alamina flawlessly highlights the golden statement earrings by Dora Mae Jewelry. To keep the groom looking dapper as ever, he used Cloak & Dapper beard essentials, and was groomed by Sergio Boy.
Almost reminiscent of a Mondrian painting, the team at The Sugar Suite perfectly captured the elements of the glass house in this sweet cake.
How fun was that?! A huge thank you to the creative team behind this cool + colorful shoot!
