Today’s inspirational shoot is inspired by the mid-century modern artist Mary Blair. Mary Blair is an American artist who designed the “It’s a Small World” ride for Walt Disney. Here geometric shapes meet just the right touch of whimsy in a palette of whites, golds, and blush that would even make Jonathan Adler swoon. This wedding shoot is geared toward a playful couple who love the art, architecture and fashion of the mid-twentieth century, but want to interpret those forms in a light and playful way. LOVE this idea and big thanks to The Bee and The Bobbin for dreaming up this idea (and creating the pretty florals!) and to Sarah Layne Photography for the photos.
Thanks so much to all these creative artists for sharing such a fun interpretation with us today!
