You may remember that around this time last year we featured some amazing inspiration from The Jam Event, and this year we’re happy to have the crew back again, sharing their gorgeous 2016 event with us! The Jam Event is a styled industry party – always inspired by music – that helps local wedding artists celebrate a brand new season with lots of creativity, fun and inspiration. This year’s theme was ‘Heavy Metal’ which, from a designer’s perspective, was all about metallics and textural elements such as leather, concrete, wood and metal. Sounds pretty great, right? Designers + hosts, Wild Heart Events & No Frills Events, have much more to share below:
Our shindig, once again, took place at our favorite private greenhouse nestled on the Gaviota Coastline just north of Santa Barbara. Bella Vista Designs lit up the greenhouse as our guests arrived to amazing swag bags and were treated to get ‘Rock’n’Roll Ready’ by Pretty Please Beauty in our check-in airstream. Over 400 event professionals turned out and the event was highlighted by performances by Vanity Fair The Band and an aerialist from Radiant Productions. Outside, we served ‘craft on draft’ from Road Soda, a touring airstream speakeasy, as well as wood-fired empanadas from Buena Onda and pizzas from Autostrada.
Time to check out Anna Delores Photography‘s beautiful images from the soirée…
Inside, guests noshed on savory cotton candy, ice-cream made to order and local craft beer from Topa Topa Brewery. FlipboothLA and Amuse Booth provided dueling photo booths and guests were treated to temporary tattoos from My Tat in the Aisle Planner lounge area.
Once again, we set ‘inspiration stations’ of designer-led tablescapes based off of our theme. Tables included the Industrialist, Botanist, Alchemist, Astrotnomist and Haut Monde. I worked with each floral designer to carefully curate the settings and aesthetic utilizing vendors such as Otis + Pearl, Classic Party Rentals, Blueprint Studios, Elan Event Rentals, La Tavola, Barn Relic and more.
This rustic tablescape is perfect for a moody-romantic winter wedding.
We are ALL ABOUT this agate-slice place setting decor!
So many dreamy details + inventive color palettes!
We would totally love to have a seat at this creative table :)
This gorgeous vignette feels like a fairytale!
