The Loft on Pine in Long Beach, California is one of our very favorite venues and we’re pretty sure that Leigh + Matt’s magical wedding is about to reveal why. The space is vast with rad architectural details, ready for couples to bring in their own personal style + create a day that’s reflective of them. L + M worked with Bash Please + Moon Canyon, so it’s safe to say the details + florals we’re crazy good. But aside from the amazing design elements that made this wedding unique, the bride + groom wanted their focus to be on creating a fun, memorable night shared with all their loved ones. Here’s more about that from Leigh:
We wanted to make it as much of a celebration as possible and we did that the best possible way we knew how. The biggest part of that was sharing our love with our family and friends. We wanted to spend as much time with them as possible throughout the whole event which even meant attending much of our cocktail hour. Another special touch was having a family style dinner. We both grew up eating with family and friends this way so we knew this would be special to incorporate this into our celebration. It was such a great feeling to hear our friends and family had just as a fantastic time as we did and that they felt this celebration truly represented who we are as a couple.
Thanks so much to Hugh Forte for the amazing images and congrats to Leigh + Matt on a gorgeous day!

Leigh wore an Ivy & Aster dress from Lovely Bride LA with sky high Steve Madden heels.

We love Matt’s suit from Klein Epstein & Parker. (And fun secret embroidered message below!)

The bridesmaids each hand-picked a floral print dress that were hand-picked by each bridesmaid with no dress being from the same designer! They go together so well, don’t you think? Below, in our shopping guide, you’ll find a few of our current floral print faves along with some other fun details to get a look similar to this for your own big day!

Our Musical Choices

These greenery details are blowing our minds! Imagine sharing an intimate dinner here with your family + friends. Pure magic. Leigh, Matt, Bash Please + Moon Canyon … hats off to all of you!

Now that’s an entrance!

Our Favorite Memory
The dancing! Oh my word I have never seen so many wedding guests partake in the dancing festivities and it was an absolute blast! And the music brought it all to a whole other level!

Our Advice
Stay true to who you are as a couple. There are so many wonderful traditions as well as new ways of celebrating marriage but they are not one size fits all. Discover what each tradition means to you and if that is something you want to have as a part of YOUR celebration as a couple. The more true you are to yourselves, the more fun you are going to have on your special day!
