This is awesome, though you lose a point for including John Mayer. There’s also a new album of Covers by Mates of State that I love.
What a great list!!! I have a total soft spot for covers. Another few I love are Cat Power doing “Sea Of Love”, Me First And The Gimme Gimmes doing “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”, and Toots & The Maytalls doing “Country Roads”.
