For those of you who got engaged over the holidays and are beginning to plan your big day, today’s gorgeous wedding inspiration is bound to get your creative wheels turning! Styled by two very talented Italian artists, ila malù + Trendinozze, and photographed by giuli & giordi, the design of the shoot gives off the perfect unconventional-industrial vibe. It follows the real-life couple, Stefano and Riccardo of Gnam Box, with a staged celebration conceived from the idea of ditching clichés and tired traditions. I’m majorly in love with the urban-inspired reception tables, complete with greenery covered industrial light fixtures hanging from above. And you won’t want to miss the charmingly styled polaroid + temporary tattoo booths! Since they’re always a hit at weddings, be sure to take note on how the team arranged everything! So super fun. Here’s more about the shoot from Giulie & Giordi:
We chose a warm and hip atmosphere, with a relaxed vibe with the aim of making people feel welcome and at ease. The guests would be served a buffet brunch with both Italian and international specialties, then attend the ceremony (symbolic of course, as equality is still a long way ahead of us here) in the Bocce field, and then later in the night asked to take seat at a candle lit table, decorated with a simple array of bottles – both vintage and new – leaves and white ranunculus, with leaf arrangements also coming from the lamps overhead. A small but charming dessert buffet featuring also a cute chocolate naked cake was marked the end of the day.
The team focused on choosing attire that was classic + timeless, but with an updated twist…
Tell us, how much do you love this gorgeous tablescape!? It gives off such an inviting feeling, don’t you think?
The use of the old bocce lockers to house the tattoo bar is totally genius!
And love the mixology corner, which was staged against a pair of old, beat-up shutters and featured custom drink stirrers by CUTandPASTE – lab.
Thanks so much to the artistic team of creatives below for sharing their talents with us today!

What a great shoot. There is so much inspiration and fantastic ideas here. Keeping each place setting at the table paired down and refined allows for the amazing greenery encased light fixtures and the centre florals and candles to stand out. It’s warm, inviting and very chic. I’ll be keeping this one as a go-to for inspiration for sure.
I adore this! It’s great to see something different. I rarely get to see same sex couples on big blogs, and I commend you for doing so and supporting it. I hope to see more!
Oh, this is just perfection! It’s classic, timeless, unique and so visually stimulating! Such great inspiration!
