Intimate Mountain Campground Wedding: Kevin + Kathy – Part 2

Canada mountain wedding

You didn’t miss Part 1 of Kevin + Kathy’s super amaze wedding, did you? (If so, click right here to get all caught up!) Part 2 is all about their fun, handmade reception, featuring summer wildflowers, vintage tableware, dreamcatchers and so much more! Kevin + Kathy weren’t afraid to lean on a few talented friends, whose creative abilities were truly key in bringing their DIY campground wedding to life. And any detail that couldn’t be made was carefully sourced by Kathy and her mom, who spent countless hours collecting vintage pieces for the tablescapes from local flea markets + thrift stores. A labor of love, but so very worth it. We are definitely impressed with how it all came together to create a one-of-a-kind celebration in the secluded Canadian sierras. Let’s have a peek at the pretty, captured by Phil Chester

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

Do what makes you happy and reflects you as a couple and don’t lose sight of that! Get caught up in the details all you want during the planning process but once the day comes, don’t worry about it being perfect. It will never be perfect. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. When our day-of coordinator flaked out on us just days before the wedding, friends and family pulled together to make our vision come to life for us. It was amazing and felt so special because everything that day was touched by people we love. Last, but certainly not least, invest in a good photographer; you won’t regret it.
