Seriously, some days we just wanna shout, “Bring on the glam!” Today is one of those days + we couldn’t have a more perfect wedding to share, that perfectly suits our super-sparkly mood. Nicole + Matt worked with the talented team at Bob Gail Special Events to bring their ideal wedding environment to life. For these cuties, it was all about details like the giant 8×8′ gold glitter heart, the gorgeous sequined chevron table runners, and the giant candy corner with a customized “Candy Land” sign that made their day feel so unique and just so “them”. Making it yours is what it’s all about, right?! And since we know many of you are currently struggling to find the perfect venue for your big day, let’s hear a bit from Nicole about how she + Matt found their dream space:
Matt and I had been together almost 9 years when we got engaged. About 2 months after the proposal, we quickly started planning. Matt and I went to a few different venues. Saw many ballrooms and really weren’t feeling it. Having been together for nearly a decade, we knew we wanted one thing…a party. We wanted a venue that was open, and had lots of character. I had some ideas that I just didn’t think would fit in at a ballroom. While looking for venues, I came across Vibiana (also featured in our Top 26 Coolest Places to Get Married). I had never in my life seen anything as beautiful as this place. We did a site visit and we were sold! Our date was set and the planning had begun.

Nicole looked classically beautiful in her white Vera Wang gown. She carried a timeless bouquet, designed by Bob Gail Special Events, comprised of simple ivory garden roses.
This ceremony space seriously made our jaws drop!
More from Nicole, Vibiana is a very large venue, and with 150 people we had some filling to do. We added in 4 lounge vignettes. My favorite one was the large black and white striped couch with the gold sequined pillows. Our escort table was made up of gold glittered lips for the girls, and black glittered mustaches for the guys. The lighting was stunning with a large pink heart on the ceiling.

A few closing words from the beautiful bride: The day was absolutely perfect. After being together for so long, it was a huge celebration. The love was tangible. We got the party we asked for which ended with some dancing on chairs! Many of our guests said the best part about our wedding was that Matt and I were equally having as much fun as all the guests.
They say the day goes by fast and it’s true. You will never be able to control that. But fast or slow, that day was the most magical day of our lives.
