Gaudí Minimal Geometric Wedding Inspiration

Antoni Gaudi art inspired

We love it when creatives take an object, concept or theme that they adore, and translate it into a fresh + beautiful source of wedding inspiration. The talented team behind today’s lovely styled shoot took influence from the sculptures + works of Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, and we’re crazy about the minimal, geometric-inspired environment they created! The design + florals were beautifully executed by Belovely Floral and Event Design, and Emily Wren expertly captured the artful + unique vibe of the setting through her lens. Here’s a bit more about the concept from Emily:

We wanted to use Gaudi’s work as inspiration for this shoot. We brought Gaudi-esq color schemes, textures, and patterns into every aspect of the shoot so that it would be both a subtle thread throughout the shoot as well as an immersive experience, as if walking into one of the rooms Gaudi designed! We even incorporated a gecko for some shots , inspired by Gaudi’s famous lizard statue in his sculpture garden in Barcelona.

The ceremony space felt light + airy with a pretty geometric installation + simple bundles of greenery tied to the chairs.

This pretty tablescape is a major fave. The purposely wrinkled table drape + rusty vintage chairs juxtapose the more modern, minimal details perfectly.

These favors are pretty perfect, right?! Reminds me of Park Güell in Barcelona! :)
