Happy Friday lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and an even better weekend! The hubby and I are hoping to see The Descendants this weekend. Has anyone else seen it yet? I’ve been wanting to see it but now after Clooney won the Golden Globe last weekend I’m even more intrigued! Also working on a special project that I’m excited to share with you all soon! So, here are some of my favorites from this past week…
• Totally love these shoes from Anthropologie – and perfect for a wedding!
• Mignonne Handmade recently debuted some new pieces – love this one
• This wedding from our featured vendor The Wedding Artists Collective is so perfectly beautiful (photos by member Josh Goleman)
• One of our favorite flower gals, Amy Osaba, launched a new site this week with lots of pretty flower galleries – love!
• Did you enter to win a free pair of shoes from ShoeMint yet? You still have a few days left to enter!
Looking for additional DIY contributors!
I know I have lots of amazingly talented readers and I’m looking for one or two more readers to help with our DIY column! I’m looking for original DIYs to share on GWS once a month. If you are interested, please send me an email at jen{at}greenweddingshoes[dot]com with the subject line “DIY column” and a link to some of your previous DIY ideas. I’ll be in touch with those that I feel would work best with the GWS aesthetic with more details + next steps. :)

And a beautiful wedding film… Do you remember Thu + Rich? We shared their sweet engagement photos last year. Well, they were married a few months ago and Thu shared her lovely film captured by Kate Headley. So lovely and big congrats to them! Their wedding photos are pretty gorgeous too – you can see them here on Kate’s blog.
Want those shoes, want those shoes!
I just want to tell you that you will love The Descendants! It is a movie with heart and it shows how our past, present and future truly are links to one another. That our Family that has gone before us and our family sitting right beside us are all pieces of who we are and they all help build the character of what we are to become.
Love those shoes! Would love them for my wedding. I can’t see them on the Anthropologie website though. Are they on another website?
Thanks.

LOVE the shoes! Gorgeous colour!
I bought those shoes on endless.com a couple of weeks ago. They’re by Seychelles and called “All Dressed Up.” They’re also on sale right now and come in a few other colors. I’ll be wearing the teal for my big day!!! Anthro tends to sell Seychelles shoes with different names. But they’re definitely on endless right now!
I have a tea length dress so I needed some fabulous shoes to show off. I bought the Seychelles from Anthropologie and they just arrived last Friday! They have extra padding at the ball of the foot and are SO COMFORTABLE and the perfect jewel tone shade of teal :D Anyone who buys them will not regret it.
