While this lovely shoot is staged in an industrial loft overlooking LA’s famous Hollywood sign, the inspiration for it was drawn from the simple beauty found in nature. I love the juxtaposition of the clean loft, the industrial elements, and natures beauty.
The team decided to create a warm, intimate tablescape that would be perfect for a foodie; yet elegant enough for a couple to draw inspiration from for their wedding or any other gathering. The foundation of the palette is drawn from the artichokes, potatoes and tomatoes in deep purples and greens. Hanging ferns and greenery in rustic wire baskets added a natural, ethereal element while rugs brought in warmth and intimacy.
If you’re looking to use this shoot as inspiration for you event, pay attention to the small details like the menus printed on satchels with breadsticks, mini air plants used as napkin rings that also serve as favors, the trio of cakes intertwined with twigs and real sugar flowers, and the handmade cheese boards from a local artisan.
