Let’s start this totally gorgeous feature with a little bit of background on the cute bride + groom. Ali is a prima ballerina for the Houston Ballet (amaze!), and Max is the owner of Catalina Coffee Shop and Amaya Roasting Company in Texas. They decided on an intimate destination wedding in Florida, at Tampa’s own Oxford Exchange – a restaurant, coffee shop and bookstore all in one space, modeled after the architecture of the shops + clubs in England.
When it came to the design, their individual personalities shined through in the setting, which was clearly the perfect atmosphere for their soiree. Styled with cascading staircase florals, the incredible design work of Botanica International Design Studio, and dreamy decor elements reminiscent of A Mid Summers Night Dream, we just can’t help but feel like a couple of hopeless romantics as we delve into the gorge images captured by Papered Heart Photography…
Seriously this space is so amazing. We totally dig that A + M held their ceremony in the beautiful bookstore.
Major love for Ali’s sweet, cascading bouquet!
The detailing on that BHLDN dress only added to the sense of romance…
Guests found their way to the table by way of a yummy Mast Brothers chocolate bar; a favor which doubled as their escort card! Aside from loving that detail, we’re all about the punchy floral centerpieces and intimate feel to the courtyard where dinner was held.
Why can’t every staircase be covered with wandering vines + beautiful florals?
Because they create the PERFECT vignette for highlighting pretty cakes! These stunning creations are by Chocolate Pi :)
Ali + Max threw a truly beautiful wedding from afar. Goes to show that it can totally be done! They were surrounded by family and friends who traveled from all over the world to celebrate with them at their intimate wedding + from the looks of it, it just couldn’t have been any better!
Congrats to the newlyweds!
