Fall Ghost Town Wedding Inspiration

Colorado Ghost Town wedding

Kathryn of Our Love Is Loud said it best when she spoke of her inspiration + goals for today’s stunning shoot. We wanted to encourage all those offbeat brides out there to plan a wedding that is unique to them. We know that sometimes people want to do things differently, they just don’t know quite how to do it! We have made it our goal to rally together the incredible talent here in Denver and show brides first hand how an offbeat, creative non-traditional wedding can be done – on a budget and with style!

And what a creative setting it was. The idea of an entire 1800’s ghost town as your wedding day backdrop had us more than intrigued + we couldn’t believe all the incredible ways Laurel & Rose decked out the setting with the most simplistic autumnal decor. Lale Florals crafted a majorly stunning bouquet (think seasonal leaves, wild berries + more) and the real-life couple’s attire (from A & Be Bridal Shop + ASOS) was totally top-notch, too. Just look at them in that photo above! J’adore.

The Bread Bar wedding

The main locations for this shoot were The Bread Bar + Dram Apothecary in Silver Plume, Colorado. Kathryn tells us, The Bread Bar is a new hotspot that has become a hub for all craft cocktail lovers, the Silver Plume regulars, Denver artists and musicians, and of course visitors from the slopes! Started by Shae of Dram Apothecary, it has received quite a bit of national attention since its opening for the renowned custom bitters made in the kitchen and also as the coolest spot to have a hot toddy after a long day skiing on the mountains! It’s also the perfect spot for a small dinner party or outdoor concert, but what about a wedding!? We think this hidden gem is the perfect spot for a small intimate wedding with friends and family and we just had to showcase how it can be done!
