Boy do we have a treat for you lovelies today! The prettiest sneak peek into MunaLuchi Magazine’s Spring/Summer 2014 cover editorial, “Ethereal Beauty”, captured by none other than the amazing Elizabeth Messina! For those of you who aren’t familiar with the publication, MunaLuchi Magazine is a stunning print editorial whose goal is to showcase the beauty that is diversity. The name MunaLuchi is the combination of two African names which, when fused together, mean “Beautiful Work of God”. And the company’s mission is to promote positive images of women of color, believing that positive imagery is the threshold for confidence, and confidence inspires self love.
We’re positively swooning over this stunning session, featuring devastatingly beautiful gowns by Oscar de la Renta, Samuelle Couture, Jean Ralph-Thurin, Claire Pettibone + Chaviano Couture paired with delicate headpieces + veils by Olivia Headpieces, Twigs and Honey + Delphine Manivet. The images are at once ethereal + powerful, and we’re sure after seeing this glimpse into the pages of MunaLuchi, you’ll want to run out and scoop up a copy of your own to see even more..
Nikia Phoenix, you’re beautiful!
From the editors of MunaLuchi, The MunaLuchi bride is bold, beautiful, worldly. She is witty, vibrant and free. She loves the finer things in life, and is not afraid to go after what she wants. She exudes style and grace and is determined to look her very best not just on her wedding day, but every day. She yearns to embrace her culture and seeks inspiration that speaks to her. She comes in all sizes and shades. Simply put, she is beautiful no matter what skin she’s in.
The Spring/Summer 2014 issue is such a special one. Each one is special actually, but this one’s extra special because it’s our first time doing multiple covers. We showcased images from our cover editorial, “Ethereal Beauty” on all covers instead of just the front.
We’re really not sure what to say about these uber-romantic blooms + halos, arranged by Nancy of Oak and the Owl, except WOW! Just the prettiest.
The Spring/Summer 2014 issue of MunaLuchi Magazine is on newsstands throughout the country now! To pick up a copy, visit your local Target or Barnes and Noble or find the nearest retailer here.

O M G !
The dresses are lovely, but the model is *SO* gorgeous (and with a very peaceful quality) that it was hard to focus on the fashion. Great shoot!

And btw: I love these freckles!!! ;-)
Who made the long sleeve all-lace gown? I know the designers are listed but the post doesn’t specify which dress is which designer:)
Who makes the all lace v neck lace gown? I can’t seem to find it with the designers listed. Thanks!
