A Creative Wedding on an Exotic Ranch: Bre + Bryant

Bre + Bryant are a super creative couple and really wanted their wedding to reflect that. Bre is also a wedding photographer, so great photography was a must for their day! Everything at their wedding was pulled together by their talented friends. The amazing venue – an exotic breeding property in Alabama with lots of animals roaming around the day of the wedding! – belonged to the grandfather of one of their groomsmen. The food was catered by friends just starting their catering business and was a huge hit with everyone. The stationery, signs, video, and even fire dancer were all friends of theirs. Bre + Bryant are pretty lucky to have such creative friends and are super thankful for everyone that helped pull off their wedding and made it that much even more meaningful. Thanks so much to Laura Leslie for the gorgeous photos and congrats to Bre + Bryant!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

I would say the elk calling out during the wedding, hehe. Sometimes ceremonies can be so serious and it really helped lighten the mood which is more our style. Not to mention all the wild animals roaming the property freely. Such as buffalo, elk and watusi.

The groomsmen made us a teepee they called our honeymoon suite, inside it had a bed with roses and champagne, it was really special. I also loved that most of our guest camped around us for the wedding.

My mom spent months making wine glass chandeliers for our guest to take as gifts. It really meant so much to me that she came up with this idea and did such a stunning job. They really looked magical twinkling in the trees.

Our Advice To Those Planning Now

I see too many brides try to make others happy. It is really much more fulfilling to have your own personal touch on your wedding day then to letting someone like your mother or venue take over. Make it about you two and no one else, you can do whatever you want, I think couples forget that.
