Our path has crossed with today’s beautiful bride, Emily, before. She was the lucky winner of a BHLDN wedding dress giveaway and spent a fun afternoon with Jen picking out the perfect ensemble for her artsy + colorful Ohio affair! She and her now-hubby, Tyler, are both amazing artists by trade – Emily a painter and Tyler an animator – so naturally, their wedding was full of quirky, fun and creative details.
From Emily’s huge abstract backdrops, to handmade buttons for all their guests, to the glittering metallic accents seen throughout, their day was the ultimate reflection of the two of them, and we were excited to see this sweet bride again + honored to share her beautiful wedding day on GWS!
Thanks so much to Christa Kimble Photography for the gorgeous images below!
Of course, Emily + Tyler designed their own invitations + paper goods! We just love how they turned out :)
Emily also put together all the floral arrangements using vibrant silk flowers from our fave faux floral resource, Afloral. We love that if you decide to go this route you can keep your bouquet forever + have it displayed somewhere in your home!

Processional: You've got to Hide Your Love Away + Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds – performed by Bill Evans
Recessional: Inní Mér Syngur Vitleysingur – Sigur Rós
First Dance: January Wedding – The Avett Brothers
Of course, Pantone escort cards were an absolute must!
Major love for all of these colorful tassel garlands! They really brightened up the indoor space, which was actually Emily + Tyler’s plan B due to heavy rain. You’d never know it, though, as this perfectly designed reception feels so stylish, cheerful + intentional!
Do we have any Friday Night Lights fans out there? :) Such a fun ceremony entrance for these two cuties!
Big congrats to Emily + Tyler on a truly beautiful day!
