Canvas Wedding Inspiration from Martha Stewart Weddings

Martha Stewart Weddings

The fall issue of Martha Stewart Weddings is on newsstands now, and as soon as we saw this super-fun feature, all about using canvas as wedding inspiration (and designed by David Stark), we knew we just had to share a few photos from the spread with you guys! Canvas might not be the first thing you think of when you think wedding inspiration, but as you make your way through the post, we’re sure you’ll see that there are so many fun ways to incorporate this amazing texture into your day! From your attire to your tablescape, and everywhere in between, we’re loving canvas, and the great blue, gray, and natural color palette MSW shares in this feature, for fall + winter weddings!

dipped candle votives

We’re so crazy about those votives above, crafted from dip-dyed strips of cotton gauze (canvas’ looser-woven cousin) + the fun paintbrush-caddy-turned-escort-card-display seen below!

These blooms (nigellas, delphiniums, viburnum berries, and sweet peas) are so stunning, right? And love the idea of a monogrammed fabric bouquet wrap to (literally) tie the whole canvas look together!

And swooning over that gorgeous cake, decorated with cascading fabric flowers + perched atop a perfectly imperfect dip-dyed table linen.
