When Kristen + Daemaine first started planning their wedding, they imagined having it abroad — in Barcelona, Spain, to be exact. However, after realizing that much of their family wouldn’t be able to attend, they figured out something that worked even better: have a gorgeous wedding at home in Texas, then capture elopement style photographs during their honeymoon in Barcelona. The bride tells us Our wedding day truly felt like one giant family reunion. Daemaine + I both love the outdoors so we wanted to find a venue that had a style we both liked, and that was close to home. The place we got married holds a lot of memories for my family because it is where we always went camping together. Both of us are pretty laid-back, so we wanted the day to feel relaxed and everyone to enjoy the outdoors.

We loved that both our families stayed in one big cabin. It was such a great feeling to have everyone together, spending our wedding weekend with the ones we love. During the reception we also surprised my father for his birthday. The whole wedding really had a feel good family reunion vibe. It was perfect.
Picking up the colors in the invitation suite, the bridesmaids wore dresses from WToo.
Our Advice
Enjoy the process and don't get caught up in the details. Let loose, have fun + love hard!
