Creative + colorful, this Spanish-style wedding incorporated a TON of bougainvillea (it was held at the Bougainvillea Estate, after all) and super fun DIY projects. Teaming up with event designer + planner, Lace and Likes, they played on the desert culture of Palm Springs, as well as the bride’s Hispanic heritage – by including mariachi music + tequila shot glasses!
The bride, Andrea, shares We had a very diverse crowd, with my Hispanic family and Brian’s [her now husband] Irish/Catholic background, along with his Danish relatives… So we kept our music choices diverse and had something for everyone! We played a mix of old songs, new songs, and some our favorites, such as “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, and “Unforgettable” by Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole. Oh! And it rained the day of our rehearsal and ALMOST rained the day of our wedding, but luckily the rain held off, the clouds parted, and the sun came out!

Such a pretty collection of bridesmaid dresses – from Reformation, Show Me Your MUMU + Revolve. The neutral palette really allows the flowers to pop!!

Our Favorite Memory
Definitely our first kiss!! We kissed and hugged like there was no tomorrow... And we were both so excited to have married our best friend. Also, our sparkler send off was such a fun way to cap off the night. We got sparklers that went on FOREVER, so we just kept running back and forth between our friends and family until they ran out!

Our Advice
When people offer to help you, take them up on it!! We tried to micromanage, but the days leading up to the wedding, we enlisted anyone who was around to help + pitch in! People are more than willing to help, you just have to ask!
