The inspiration behind the richly-hued editorial you’re about to see pretty much started with a vintage-inspired floral print fabric. The colors and patterns resonated so strongly with the team – led by the planners + designers at Heart & Dash – and they instantly felt a vibe that they decided to run with. From there, the team worked to create a quality, aspirational design that still maintained a level of simplicity. Sarah from Heart & Dash shares, If simple is your style, there are still so many ways that you can incorporate details that enhance all your setting has to offer without going over the top.
Let’s see more from Pat Robinson Photography below…
We Are Wildflowers really nailed the floral design, keeping a focus on the key hues seen in the inspo fabric.
We’re loving this textural, sprig-adorned braid by Up Your Do!
At Heart & Dash, we feel strongly that styled shoots should feature new and dreamy ideas that are still completely realistic. When we had the opportunity to shoot at Terrain, we noticed that almost every inspiration image we could find from Terrain showcased a ceremony outside. The hidden gem at Terrain is their Hot House, which is typically only used on rainy days — and hey, realistically, weather doesn’t always cooperate! So we set out to show how an indoor ceremony has the potential to have a gorgeous ceremony with diffused greenhouse light, topped off with a rich, moody head table at the reception in the Garden Shed.
Terrain really has endless spaces for perfect photo-ops!
The fun signage + stationery was by Miss Design Berry. We love how it echoes the fabric’s vibe, too.
To end the beautiful shoot, a great cake was a must, and Nutmeg Cake Design really delivered!
A big thanks to the talented team below for sharing their creativity with us today!
